    Exploring the Creative AI Universe

Explore the wider world of generative AI, including tools that create images, music, voices, video, and computer code. Through demonstrations, discussion, and light philosophical reflection, we’ll compare how different systems generate content, what they do well, where they fall short, and how these technologies are reshaping creativity and work. No technical background is required, but do bring curiosity and a willingness to be occasionally puzzled.

Charles Webster, MD, MSIE, MSIS, has spent decades exploring the crossroads of people, machines, and ideas. Trained in engineering, business, artificial intelligence, cognitive science, and medicine, he brings technical insight and human perspective to today’s AI revolution. Lifelong explainer and enthusiast, Webster makes complex ideas approachable and fun for learners ready to laugh, question, and imagine where AI might take us next.

     Sunday, Sept 13, 2026

    2 pm matinee

    Musical Theater Southwest

Keshet Dance and Center for the Arts at 4121 Cutler Ave. NE.

Come From Away is based on the true story of the time when the isolated community of Gander, Newfoundland, played host to the world. What started as an average day in a small town turned into an international sleepover, when 38 planes, carrying thousands of people from around the globe, were diverted to Gander’s airstrip on September 11, 2001. Undaunted by culture clashes and language barriers, the people of Gander cheered the stranded travelers with music, an open bar and the recognition that we’re all part of a global family.

Tickets are available at www.mtsabq.org and they sell out fast, so please don't hesitate to purchase yours today, and let me know you'll be there.
